Moscow

A soundtrack to Moscow: bold, enigmatic, and endlessly magnetic. ❄️

Moscow is a city I read in contrasts, where imperial grandeur meets underground intimacy, and golden domes reflect against bold, modern lines. It is a place that reveals itself slowly, through atmosphere, light, and unexpected moments of beauty.

I come here for that subtle tension between control and freedom. In May, the light stretches endlessly into the evening, casting a soft glow over the Kremlin walls while the city shifts into a different rhythm, more fluid, more alive.

For your stay, Hotel Metropol offers a deeply atmospheric experience, where Art Nouveau details and historic elegance create a sense of timelessness. The Ritz-Carlton captures a more iconic perspective, especially from its rooftop where Moscow unfolds in full grandeur. St. Regis Nikolskaya offers a quieter kind of luxury, refined and discreet, just steps away from the city’s most vibrant landmarks.

Walking through Moscow is essential to understanding it. Around Patriarch Ponds, the energy feels intimate and effortlessly stylish, with cafés, flowers, and a certain cultivated ease. Along the river in Gorky Park, the city opens up into long, fluid perspectives shaped by light and movement. Zaryadye Park brings a more contemporary expression, where architecture and landscape frame breathtaking views over the historic center.

For dining, Strelka Bar captures the creative pulse of the city, especially at sunset when the skyline softens. Remy Kitchen Bakery offers a more delicate rhythm, perfect for slow mornings and elegant brunches. Margarita Bistro evokes a Mediterranean spirit, light and generous, ideal for lingering afternoons. White Rabbit remains an essential experience, both theatrical and deeply rooted in modern Russian gastronomy.

As night falls, Moscow becomes more intimate. Mendeleev Bar reveals itself discreetly, with a hidden, almost cinematic atmosphere. Delicatessen feels expressive and slightly nostalgic, driven by creativity and character. Korobok offers a warm, enclosed ambiance where time seems to slow down. Voda takes a more minimalist approach, focusing on precision and purity in every detail.

During the month of May, our collaboration with Poison Drop Shop added a new layer to this experience. It was a true meeting of aesthetics and intention, bringing together bold femininity, craftsmanship, and a shared visual language. Seeing our pieces presented within their space in Moscow was both meaningful and inspiring, a moment of creative dialogue between two distinct yet aligned universes.

Moscow is not a city that reveals everything at once. It invites you to wander, to look closer, and to embrace its layers. Between grandeur and intimacy, structure and spontaneity, it becomes a source of constant inspiration.
