Véro’s France: From Paris to the Côte d’Azur
France is home in a different way.
I am French, and I love my countryside — the quiet, the old houses, the gardens, the markets, the long lunches and that feeling of being connected to where you come from. But of course, I also love Paris.
Paris is where I go for energy, fashion, art, restaurants and inspiration. And because Bohème by Véro carries a French spirit with an international life, there are few places that feel more natural to the brand.
Paris — My City of Inspiration
If you are in Paris, my favourite way to see the city is simply to walk.
Start early, when the city is still quiet, around the Louvre and the Seine. Walk along the river towards the Eiffel Tower, continue towards the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, and then make your way back towards Montmartre.
It is a long walk — but that is the point.
You see Paris changing as you move through it: the grand monuments, the little streets, the cafés, the galleries and finally the village-like atmosphere of Montmartre.
Montmartre has a particularly special place in my heart. We have a flat there, and whenever I am in Paris, it feels like coming back to something familiar.
My Paris Shopping Addresses
Merci in the Marais is one of my favourite concept stores, bringing together fashion, jewellery, homeware and design in a wonderfully curated space.
The Broken Arm, also in the Marais, has that effortless Parisian mix of contemporary fashion, art and independent designers that I love.
For jewellery, Mad Lords is a natural Bohème address, with its eclectic selection of independent jewellery designers and its rock-and-bohemian spirit.
Empreintes, the French crafts concept store, is another beautiful place to discover exceptional craftsmanship and unique creations.
And for a more contemporary independent shopping experience, Springsioux Concept Store brings together fashion, accessories and emerging designers.
Paris — Where I Eat
For a relaxed and creative evening, Clamato is one of my favourites — seafood, natural wine and a wonderfully Parisian atmosphere.
For something more intimate and sophisticated, Le Servan is a beautiful address, with inventive food and a warm, unfussy atmosphere.
And because I am French, I will always have a weakness for a beautiful traditional bistro, a good glass of wine and a table where lunch somehow becomes dinner.
The French Countryside
Then there is the other France — the France I love deeply.
The countryside is where I slow down. Old stones, gardens, markets, local food, long lunches and beautiful houses full of history.
It is completely different from Paris, but perhaps even more connected to the Bohème spirit.
There is something very Bohème about French countryside life: old things that are loved again, natural materials, craftsmanship, imperfection and beauty without trying too hard.
This is where I recharge, surrounded by family, nature and the rhythm of a much quieter life.
Nice — Mediterranean Bohème
And then, of course, there is Nice.
Nice has a completely different energy from Paris: Mediterranean, colourful, sunny and slightly glamorous. It is where French style meets Italy, Provence meets the sea, and everything feels a little more relaxed.
We are already present in Nice at Zelinski & Rozen, where you can discover some Bohème by Véro pieces alongside their beautiful world of fragrance. It is a wonderful fit because fragrance, jewellery, travel and sensuality all tell the same story.

Nice — Where I Eat
For an intimate and authentic Niçoise experience, La Meranda is a wonderful address — small, warm and full of character.
For something truly spectacular, Le Plongeoir is extraordinary, built dramatically above the Mediterranean with the sea all around you.
And of course, no visit to Nice is complete without walking through Vieux Nice, exploring the market, stopping for an espresso and simply watching life go by.
My France
There are so many French cities I could talk about — Lyon, Bordeaux, Marseille, Biarritz, Aix-en-Provence, Saint-Tropez and so many more.
But for now, I will keep it simple.
Paris for inspiration. The countryside for the soul. Nice for the Mediterranean.
Three very different sides of France, but all connected by the things I love most: beauty, history, food, craftsmanship, fashion, family and that effortless French way of living.
And perhaps that is what Bohème by Véro is ultimately about too.
